rune pages

so, generic runes...

seals (yellow): seal of  resilience - gives +1.41 armor (9 of these)
glyphs (blue): glyph of shielding - gives magic resist per level (9 of these)
quints (purple): quints of strength - gives + 2.25 attack damage (3 of these)
    note: quints of strength is just to add a bit of damage and helps with last hitting etc
marks (red): marks of strength - gives +0.95 attack damage (9 of these)
    note: also to help with last hitting

the quints and marks of strength are really only optimal on melee ad top laners and ad carry bot laners, but it helps with all roles for last hitting and still helps in jungling and kinda helps support do more damage in fights.

ideally....

for AP mid: mark of insight for magic penetration
for Jungler: mark of alacrity for attack speed (preferred on most junglers)
for Support: get the quints that give 1 bonus gold per 10 seconds
for anything: movement speed quints are good if u wana move faster around the map (i use these on my junglers)

Semi's in winner bracket of the WCS Korea is all protoss.  Maybe protoss is imba, but how do these fuckers beat zergs.  It's time to start watching streams and tournament replays again to refresh on these builds.

ADC Bot

This seems a bit tricky, so far my corki is far better than any other adc, i should practice others.  The support role is far more important than i originally thought, my favorite combo is corki soraka, though corki taric has worked well too.  The key is to out harass/poke in laning phase.

If I have soraka support, doran blade opening seems to be an option.  Most say boots3 is best, but doran blade allows me to trade very efficiently.  With doran opening, I should be able to easily win trades in the first minute and zone them out.  Otherwise boots3 is always a solid start.

With corki, go zerker greaves, double doran, into phage, sheen, trinity force, then infinity edge, bloodthirster, last whisperer, and finally guardian angel.  max q first, get 1 point in w, and max e second.  Use corki ult to proc tf passive.  Corki should easily out burst any adc in mid game, but drops off a bit late game.  In early laning phase, w can be used to finish off a kill, but when team fights start, w is only to be used as an escape.

Tristana also seems to be a good adc, with a common w spell for escape.  Early game tristana has a lot higher burst than I had thought, should play with a leona or blitz for maximum early game pressure.  Late game tristana also dominates.  Max w and e, at lvl 9 start getting the q.

Jungle Notes

My favorite junglers: 1) Nautilus 2) Shen 3) Mundo 4) Shyvanna 5) Nocturne

Nautilus:
Build order: regrowth pendant -> philo stone  -> boots1 -> heart of gold -> boots5 -> oracle
tips: start with w, use it at exactly 1:33 while waiting for wolves to spawn, then go blue, wraiths, wolves, red wraiths then attempt a gank
late game items:
if fed: abyssal scepter, rylize, frozen heart, merc treads, shreyas, dfg
otherwise: force of nature, rylize, frozen heart, shreyas, merc treads, aegis

Shen:
Build order: cloth5 -> boots -> heart of gold -> merc treads -> sunfire -> wits end
start q e, go for level 2 gank (top lane usually easiest)
need to work on build, maybe consider a tf if fed?
start wraiths, red, wolves, wraiths, blue

Mundo:
Build order: cloth5 -> boots -> heart of gold -> ninja tabi -> sunfire -> wits end
skills: w q w e w r etc
Late game get either warmog or frozen mallet if fed
start wraiths, red, wolves, wraiths, blue

Shyvanna:
Build order: cloth5 -> boots -> heart of gold -> madrids razer -> vamperic scepter -> wriggles -> phage -> wits end -> frozen mallet
skills: e q e r w r
start wraiths, go red, wolves, wraiths, blue

Nocturne:
Same as shyvanna

sc2 improvement

after a few games as terran, my mechanics are getting back into shape.  I am still playing too greedy though, maybe i should revert back to 2 base all ins and work my way to more macro builds.  I need to get faster colossi tech, and not waste too much money on gateway army
